Will You Be Watching "The Pitch" in April?Date: Fri, 20. April 2012 08:21:10
There's a new reality TV show in town, and this time, it's about advertising. It's called The Pitch and it's coming to you via AMC. Every week, two medium-sized ad agencies pitch against each other for a piece of legitimate business. You'll see the pressure-cooker environments, and the work that goes into a real pitch. Which may be old news to you, but it's an ABOUT TIME moment for the rest of the viewing public, who think advertising is like Mad Men crossed with Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I'll be watching. Read more, including the agencies taking part, right here. This complete disregard for the employee, and the fact that they have lives and families outside of the ad agency, is just plain wrong. And it could also backfire on the agency in a huge way. Read more about it in this new article right here.Don't Put Up With Sweatshop Conditions originally appeared on About.com Advertising on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 22:58:12.Permalink | Comment | Email this

Great ideas, when you see them, hit you with an overwhelming sense of "why didn't I think of that?" Case in point, this deftly executed piece warning pedophiles of the length of time they will face in jail if they sleep with a minor. Very well done.
